Removal

AUDIO / VISUAL: DISC PLAYER (except 5-Passenger with Ottoman): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal

3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. REMOVE REAR LOWER SEAT CONSOLE BOX COVER Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT REAR CONSOLE BOX PANEL Disassembly

8. REMOVE DISC PLAYER CONTROLLER WITH BRACKET

(a) Disconnect all the connectors and remove the 2 clips.





(b) Remove the 4 bolts and disc player.





9. REMOVE NO. 1 DISC PLAYER BRACKET





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and bracket.

10. REMOVE NO. 2 DISC PLAYER BRACKET





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and bracket.
