Installation

2UR-FSE COOLING: RADIATOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT

(a) Install the 2 supports.

2. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION

(a) Install the 2 cushions.

3. INSTALL FAN SHROUD WITH FAN AND MOTOR

(a) Set the fan shroud with fan and motor to the radiator, and attach the claw.





(b) Install the fan shroud with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

4. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the A/C condenser with HV radiator to the radiator with the 4 bolts.





Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(b) Install the radiator to the front crossmember.





HINT
Install the radiator to the front side holes of the radiator's lower support.

5. CONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A Installation

6. CONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

7. CONNECT NO. 7 INVERTER COOLING HOSE

(a) Connect the cooling hose.





8. CONNECT NO. 2 INVERTER COOLING HOSE

(a) Connect the cooling hose.





9. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the wire harness to the upper support with the 5 clamps.





(b) Install the upper support with the 5 bolts.





Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(c) Attach the 2 clamps to the radiator support LH and RH side.





(d) Connect the 3 connectors.

10. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

(a) Attach the claw to install the cover.





(b) Install the 3 screws.

12. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

(a) Install the sensor with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the connector.

13. CONNECT WIRE HARNESS

(a) Attach the 5 clamps and connect the 2 connectors.





(b) Attach the 3 clamps and connect the ECU connector.





14. INSTALL OUTLET ENGINE ROOM ECU DUCT Installation

15. CONNECT OUTLET OIL COOLER HOSE

(a) Connect the hose to the radiator.





HINT
* The direction of the hose clamp is indicated in the illustration.
* Insert the cooler hose into the stopper. Set the hose clamp so that the clearance between the hose clamp and stopper is within 2 to 7 mm (0.0787 to 0.276 in.).

16. CONNECT INLET OIL COOLER HOSE

(a) Connect the hose to the radiator.

HINT
* The direction of the hose clamp is indicated in the illustration.
* Insert the cooler hose into the stopper. Set the hose clamp so that the clearance between the hose clamp and stopper is within 2 to 7 mm (0.0787 to 0.276 in.).

17. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Install the radiator hose.





HINT
The direction of the hose clamp is indicated in the illustration.

18. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE





(a) Connect the No. 1 radiator hose to the radiator and water outlet, and then secure it with the hose clamps.

NOTICE:
If the vehicle is equipped with a water hose set on the water outlet side, assemble the water hose set before use.

HINT
* The direction of the hose clamp is indicated in the illustration.
* Insert the radiator hose into the stopper. Set the hose clamp so that the clearance between the hose clamp and the stopper is within 1.0 to 5.0 mm (0.039 to 0.20 in.).

25. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH Installation

26. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH Installation

27. INSTALL FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH

28. INSTALL FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH Installation

29. CHARGE REFRIGERANT Service and Repair

30. INSPECT AND ADJUST TRANSMISSION FLUID

(a) Inspect and adjust the transmission fluid level Procedures.

31. ADD COOLANT (for Inverter) Service and Repair

32. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Inverter) Testing and Inspection

33. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

34. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

35. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK Service and Repair

36. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

(a) Install the duct seal with the 4 clips.

37. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Adjustments

38. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY Installation

39. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Installation

40. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

41. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

42. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

43. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
