AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal
3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal
4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Removal
7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING Removal
8. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER Removal
10. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal
12. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the 3 connectors.
(b) Remove the screw and amplifier.
