DESCRIPTION
When the rear sunshade switch is pushed, an operation signal is sent to the rear sunshade relay.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the rear sunshade switch assembly Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SUNSHADE RELAY - REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the L24 rear sunshade relay connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SUNSHADE RELAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT REAR SUNSHADE ASSEMBLY (MOTOR)
(a) Remove the rear sunshade assembly Removal.
(b) Remove the rear sunshade relay cover from the rear sunshade assembly.
(c) Disconnect the B rear sunshade assembly connector.
(d) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the rear sunshade assembly.
OK:

5. INSPECT REAR SUNSHADE ASSEMBLY (LIMIT SWITCH)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
