Normal Operation
When using the overhead console open/close switch or the remote transmitter to open the power liftgate (PLG), the PLG module receives an open/close request from the SJB, the PLG module unlocks all doors and then activates the unlatch actuator by sending 12 volts to the unlatch actuator on circuit 2058 (LB/RD) and ground on circuit 2059 (WH/RD). Once the liftgate is unlatched, the motor and clutch are activated to power open the liftgate.

Possible Causes
- PLG module DTC B2713 unlatch output short to ground
- PLG module DTC B2908 latch switch invalid
- PLG module DTC B2944 unlatch output short to battery
- Mechanical binding
- Circuit 1962 (LG/VT), 1963 (OG/LB) or 1964 (DG/WH) open or short to ground
- Circuit 2058 (LB/RD) or 2059 (WH/RD) open, short to voltage or short to ground
- PLG latch
