SYMPTOM: A/T does not shift from D3 to 2[2] when changing selector lever from D to 2 position.

1. CHECK PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION (PNP) SWITCH CIRCUIT

With CONSULT-II





Does TCM INPUT SIGNALS in DATA MONITOR show damage to park/neutral position (PNP) switch circuit?

Without CONSULT-II
Does self-diagnosis show damage to park/neutral position (PNP) switch circuit?
Yes or No
Yes >> Check park/neutral position (PNP) switch circuit. Refer to DTC P0705 PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH.
No >> Go to AT-612, 9. A/T Does Not Shift: D1 -> D2 or Does Not Kickdown: D4 -> D2. A/T Does Not Shift: D1 -> D2 or Does Not Kickdown: D4 -> D2
