Detects whether Intelligent Key is inside the vehicle.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT-III
1. Perform front console antenna INSIDE ANT DIAGNOSIS on "Work Support" of "INTELLIGENT KEY".
2. Perform "INTELLIGENT KEY" Self Diagnostic Result.
Is front console antenna DTC detected?
YES - Refer to Sedan With Intelligent Key.
NO - Front console antenna is OK.




Diagnosis Procedure
Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to Sedan With Intelligent Key.
1.CHECK FRONT CONSOLE ANTENNA INPUT SIGNAL 1
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.





2. Check signal between BCM connector and ground with oscilloscope.






Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Check the condition of harness and connector.
NO - GO TO 2
2.CHECK FRONT CONSOLE ANTENNA CIRCUIT
1. Disconnect BCM and front console antenna connector.





2. Check continuity between BCM connector and front console antenna connector.





3. Check continuity between BCM connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 3
NO - Repair or replace harness between BCM and front console antenna.
3.CHECK FRONT CONSOLE ANTENNA INPUT SIGNAL 2
1. Replace front console antenna (new antenna or other antenna).
2. Connect BCM and front console antenna connector.






3. Check signal between BCM connector and ground with oscilloscope.






Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace front console antenna. Refer to Disassembly And Assembly.
NO - Replace BCM. Refer to BCM.
