P1705 TP SENSOR





Description
- Accelerator position sensor is installed to upper of accelerator pedal.
- Accelerator position sensor detects depressing amount of accelerator pedal.
- Accelerator position sensor converts depressing amount of accelerator pedal to voltage signal and transmits the signal to ECM.
- TCM receives throttle opening signal fro ECM via CAN communication.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
Immediately after performing any "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE", always turn ignition switch OFF.
Then wait at least 10 seconds before performing the next test.
- GO TO 2.
2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT-III
1. Start the engine.
2. Apply parking brake.
3. Fully depress accelerator pedal.
4. Release accelerator pedal.
5. Select "Self Diagnostic Results" in "TRANSMISSION".
Is "P1705" detected?
YES - Go to P1705.
NO - INSPECTION END




Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK DTC WITH ECM
With CONSULT-III
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" in "ENGINE".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Check intermittent incident. Intermittent Incident.
NO - Check DTC detected item. Testing and Inspection.
