Description
The vehicle speed signal is not being detected by the BCM.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS
1. On "SELECT DIAG MODE", select the "SELF-DIAG RESULT" screen.
2. Check display contents on "SELF DIAG RESULT" screen.
Is the "CAN COMM CIRCUIT" displayed in the self-diagnosis display?
YES - C1729.
NO - Inspection End.

1.CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS
1. On "SELECT DIAG MODE", select the "SELF-DIAG RESULT" screen.
2. Check display contents on "SELF DIAG RESULT" screen.
Is the "CAN COMM CIRCUIT" displayed in the self-diagnosis display?
YES - Perform trouble diagnosis for CAN communication system. Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart.
NO - Check combination meter. CONSULT-III Function.
