HEADLINING

Removal and Installation


REMOVAL

1.Remove body side welt (LH and RH). Coupe.
2.Remove front pillar garnish (LH and RH). Coupe.





3.Remove roof harness assembly fixing clips (B) with remover tool, and then disconnect roof harness connector (A).

Broken circle indicates : Clip

4.Disconnect inside mirror harness connector.
5.Remove sun visor assembly (LH and RH).
1.Remove sun visor cover.
2.Remove sun visor assembly fixing screws.
3.Disconnect vanity mirror lamp harness connectors.





6.Insert small flat-bladed screwdriver into the hole of sun visor holder, press while rotating approximately 90 degrees to remove.
7.Remove kicking plate inner (LH and RH) and rear pillar finisher (LH and RH). Coupe.





8.Insert remover tool between roof panel and roof console assembly (front edge) to disengage the metal clips as shown in the figure.

9.With remover tool, remove headlining clip from rear end of headlining.
10.Put front seat to rearmost and recline backward.





11.Remove headlining, turn and take out from right side door.

CAUTION:
- When removing headlining, 2 workers are required. (1 for the front and rear of headlining)
- Cover center console finisher upper surface with a shop cloth to prevent it from being damaged.
- Never bend headlining when removing.
12.Remove the following parts after removing headlining.
- Map lamp assembly. Exploded View.
- Roof harness assembly.

INSTALLATION

Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Install headlining assembly after inserting clips to clip holder of headlining rear end.
- Never bend headlining when installing.
