REAR TRIM

REAR PARCEL SHELF FINISHER ASSEMBLY : Removal and Installation


REMOVAL






1.Stop storage lid assembly as shown in the figure. (during open operation).

CAUTION:
Storage lid assembly may close due to low oil pressure.
Always support storage lid assembly in the fully open position.
2.Remove both seat assembly. Removal And Installation.





3.Disengage guard frame protector assembly (1) fixing pawls with a remover tool (A).

4.Remove guard frame protector assembly.





5.Remove guard frame plate assembly mounting bolts (A).
6.Remove guard frame plate assembly.





7.Remove storage lid deflector (1) mounting nuts (A) and bolts (B), and then remove storage lid deflector.





8.Disengage rear parcel shelf finisher cover fixing pawls with a remover tool (A) and then remove rear parcel shelf finisher cover.
NOTE:
- Remove according to the steps indicated in the figure to avoid damaging the fixing pawls.
- Apply protective tape (B) around rear parcel shelf finisher cover to protect the painted surface from damage.

9.Remove rear side finisher (LH and RH). Roadster.





10.Remove spring (1).
1.Remove clip (A).
2.Disconnect spring (1) from back trim assembly (2).
3.Remove clip (B).
11.Remove back trim assembly.
1.Remove both mounting bolts as shown by the figure below.
2.Disengage all clips and pawls.
3.Disconnect outside key antenna harness connector. Door Lock.
4.Pull up back trim assembly from one side to the other side and remove back trim assembly.

12.Remove both seat assembly. Removal And Installation.
13.Remover center console assembly. Removal And Installation.
14.Remove rear parcel shelf cover (LH and RH). Rear Parcel Shelf Cover.
15.Remove seatback center finisher fixing clips.





16.Remove rear side finisher speaker harness connector (A) from seatback center finisher (1) as shown in the figure.
17.Pull seatback center finisher up to remove.
18.Remove the connector located on the left side under the bracket.
19.Remove the clips fixing rear parcel shelf finisher assembly to rear parcel shelf bracket.





20.Remove rear parcel shelf finisher assembly (1).
1.Remove the clips (A) fixing rear parcel shelf finisher assembly (1) to rear parcel shelf side bracket.
2.Pull out rear parcel shelf finisher assembly to disengage the fixing clips and pawls.
3.Remove rear parcel shelf finisher assembly.

21.Remove rear parcel shelf side bracket mounting bolts and then remove rear parcel shelf side bracket.

INSTALLATION

Note the following item, and install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
Check that clips and pawls are securely fitted in panel holes on body when installing, and then press them in.
