Preliminary work

1. Remove the front apron. -> 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Removing"
2. Remove lower part of front lid lock. -> 551719 Removing and installing lower part of front lid lock - section on "Removing" 551719 Removing and Installing Lower Part of Front Lid Lock

Removing microswitch for front lid lock

1. Unclip plug connection -1- from body.





Unclipping connector

2. Release and detach electrical plug connection from front-end wire harness -A-.





Removing connector

3. Insert screwdriver into recess in lower part of lid lock -A- and detach microswitch -1- -B-.





Detaching microswitch

4. Remove microswitch.

Installing microswitch for front lid lock

1. Insert microswitch -1- into lower part of lid lock and engage.





Inserting microswitch

2. Position cable and clip plug -1- in body.





Clipping in connector

3. Insert electrical plug connection at front-end wire harness until it engages securely.

Subsequent work

1. Install lower part of front lid lock. -> 551719 Removing and installing lower part of front lid lock - section on "Installing" 551719 Removing and Installing Lower Part of Front Lid Lock
2. Install the front apron. -> 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Installing"
