Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove cover for front lock support, -> 703919 Removing and installing cover for front lock support - section on "Removing" 70391900 Removing and installing cover for front lock support.

Removing lower part of lid lock

1. Disengage actuating cable at the lid lock, -> 551019 Removing and installing release for front lid 551019 Removing and Installing Release For Front Lid.
2. Unscrew fastening screws -2-.





Removing lower part of lid lock

3. Detach the lock -1- and pull it upwards.
4. Detach microswitch, -> 558519 Removing and installing microswitch for front lid lock 558519 Removing and Installing Microswitch for Front Lid Lock.
5. Remove lock -1-.

Installing lower part of lid lock

Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
1. Install the lock flush with the upper edge of the mounting bracket -arrow-.





Aligning lock

2. Tighten fastening screws to => Tightening torque: 9.5 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)+/-1.2 Nm (+/-1 ftlb.).
3. Perform a function test.
3.1. Engage hook with a screwdriver.
3.2. Release the lid lock by actuating the inner opener.

Subsequent work

1. Install cover for front lock support, -> 703919 Removing and installing cover for front lock support - section on "Installing" 70391900 Removing and installing cover for front lock support.
