2GR-FXE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: THROTTLE BODY: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

Removal

2. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Coolant (for Engine)

5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Coolant (for Engine)

6. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

7. REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the water hose from the intake air resonator.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts and intake air resonator from the inverter with converter.

8. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 air cleaner inlet.





9. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

(a) Disconnect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose from the No. 1 air cleaner inlet.





(b) Remove the bolt and No. 1 air cleaner inlet.

10. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE

(a) Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector and wire harness clamp.





(b) Disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose from the 2 hose clamps.

(c) Disconnect the ventilation hose.





(d) Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner hose from the throttle body with motor.

(e) Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner assembly with hose.





11. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses from the throttle body with motor.





(b) Disconnect the connector and wire harness clamp.

(c) Remove the 4 bolts, throttle body with motor and wire harness clamp stay.





(d) Remove the gasket from the intake air surge tank.
