3UR-FE BATTERY / CHARGING: GENERATOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the stud bolt.

Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the generator with the 3 bolts and nut.





Torque : 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the generator connector.





(d) Connect the generator wire with the nut.

Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(e) Install the terminal cap.

(f) Install the harness bracket to the generator with the bolt.

Torque : 31 Nm (316 kgf-cm, 23 ft-lbf)

2. CONNECT OIL COOLER PIPE ASSEMBLY Installation

3. CONNECT VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL FRONT RH Installation

5. INSTALL FAN & GENERATOR V BELT Installation

6. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Installation

8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Installation

9. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
