DESCRIPTION
This circuit is from the parking brake switch to the navigation receiver assembly.

PROCEDURE
1. CHECK PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY (DISPLAY CHECK MODE)
(a) Enter the "Display Check" mode and select "Vehicle Signal Check" Operation Check.
(b) Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the parking brake operation.

This display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - PARKING BRAKE SWITCH)
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Problem Symptoms Table
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - PARKING BRAKE SWITCH)
(a) Disconnect the D55 navigation receiver assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the A3 parking brake switch assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the parking brake switch assembly Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
