Removal

CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: MAYDAY ECU: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH Removal

3. SEPARATE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH Removal

5. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE MAYDAY ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connectors from the mayday ECU.

(b) Remove the nut.





(c) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the mayday ECU.
