Removal





AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: REMOVAL

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 2 INLET AIR CLEANER (for 1AR-FE) Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET (for 2GR-FE) Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 INLET AIR CLEANER (for 1AR-FE) Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (for 2GR-FE) Removal

8. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Engine Hood Courtesy Switch) Removal

9. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch) Removal

10. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 1AR-FE) Removal

11. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2GR-FE) Removal

12. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge tube sub-assembly from the condenser.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the discharge tube sub-assembly.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

13. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A from the condenser.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

14. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts.





(b) Remove the cooler condenser assembly as shown in the illustration.
