1 Bolt for Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor (G42)

• 5 Nm

2 Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor (G42)

3 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve 1 (N80)

4 Intake manifold

• Removing and installing => [ Intake Manifold with Fuel Rail, Removing and Installing ] Intake Manifold With Fuel Rail, Removing and Installing

5 Vacuum diaphragm for the channel separating plate

6 High pressure pump bolts

• Replace

• 10 Nm

7 Connection for the fuel line from the fuel tank

8 Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve (N276)

9 High pressure pump

• With Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve (N276)

• Make sure dirt does not enter the fuel system when installing the high pressure pump.

• The fuel system must be pressureless to install the high-pressure pump, releasing fuel pressure => [ Releasing Pressure in High Pressure Area ] Releasing Pressure In High Pressure Area

• Install the fuel line to the fuel rail free from tension

10 Roller tappet

• remains inserted in cylinder head after removing the high-pressure pump, removable

11 Fuel high pressure line connection

• Replace

• 22 Nm

12 Fuel line to the fuel rail

• Do not install fuel line with tension

• 18 Nm

13 Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Valve (N316)

14 Fuel injector

• Replace O-Rings

• Note correct installation position

• Removing and installing => [ Fuel Injectors, Removing and Installing ] Fuel Injectors, Removing and Installing

15 Double check-valve

• checking => [ Double Check-Valve, Checking ] Testing and Inspection

• with evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve (N80) one unit

16 Intake manifold support

17 Bolt for the intake manifold support

• 23 Nm

18 Nut for the intake manifold support

• 10 Nm

19 Bolts for the Throttle Valve Control Module (J338)

• 4 pieces

• 5 Nm

20 Throttle Valve Control Module (J338), Throttle Drive (for Electronic Power Control (EPC)) (G186)

• Throttle Drive Angle Sensor 1 (for Electronic Power Control (EPC)) (G187) and Throttle Drive Angle Sensor 2 (for Electronic Power Control (EPC)) (G188)

• after replacing Throttle Valve Control Module (J338), it must be readapted to Engine Control Module (ECM) (J623), "Guided Functions"

• Removing and installing => [ Throttle Valve Control Module, Removing and Installing ] Removal and Replacement

• Clean => [ Throttle Valve Control Module, Cleaning ] Procedures

21 Seal

• Replace

• The rim of the sealing ring must fit into the groove provided for it inside the intake manifold.
