Throttle Valve Control Module, Removing and Installing

Removing

Rabbit:

- Remove the charge air guide leading to the noise generator.

All:





- Loosen the hose clamp - 2 -.

- Remove bolt - 4 -.

- Disconnect electrical connector - arrow -.

- Remove the noise insulation => Noise Insulation.

- Remove the air guide pipe - items 1 and 2 -.





- Remove the bolt - 1 - and remove the air guide pipe downward.





- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 - on Throttle Valve Control Module (J338).





- Remove bolts - arrows - and remove Throttle Valve Control Module (J338).

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Tightening specifications => [ Intake Manifold, Assembly Overview ] Intake Manifold, Assembly Overview.

- Clean O-ring sealing surface.

- Replace the seal; when doing so, pay attention to the correct position of the service flag on the sealing ring.

- If a new Throttle Valve Control Module (J338) was installed, adapt the engine control module to the Throttle Valve Control Module (J338) " Guided Functions".
