Intake Manifold Overview

1 Clamp

• 5.5 Nm

• Reinforced

2 Throttle Valve Control Module (J338)

3 O-ring

• Replace

4 Bolt

• 9 Nm

• Fasten in a diagonal sequence and in steps.

5 Bolt

• 9 Nm

6 Gasket

• Replace

7 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Intermediate Pipe

8 Upper Intake Manifold

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Upper Intake Manifold ] Upper Intake Manifold.

9 Seal

• Replace

10 Plug

• 10 Nm

11 Bolt

• 9 Nm

12 Engine Cover Ball Stud

• 5 Nm

13 Bolt

• 9 Nm

14 Gasket

• Replace

15 Intake Flap Motor

• Cylinder bank 1 (right): (V157).

• Cylinder bank 2 (left): (V275).

16 Bolt

• 10 Nm

17 Securing Clip

18 Connecting Rod

19 Support

20 Lower Intake Manifold

21 Gasket

• Replace

22 Charge Air Hose

• Must be free of oil and grease when installing.
