1 Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) (G39) in front of the catalytic converter 55 Nm

• Installed location: in exhaust manifold

• Only use hot bolt paste (G 052 118 A3) to grease thread; do not let hot bolt paste (G 052 118 A3) get onto slits of oxygen sensor body

2 Connector

• 6-pin

• Contacts gold plated

• Black

• for Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) (G39) before catalytic converter and Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Heater (Z19)

• Installed location: attached to the left side of the bulkhead => [ (Item 14) electrical connector ]

3 Oxygen sensor behind three way catalytic converter (G130) , 55 Nm

• Installed location: in the catalytic converter

• Only use hot bolt paste (G 052 118 A3) to grease thread; do not let hot bolt paste (G 052 118 A3) get onto slits of oxygen sensor body

4 4-pin harness connector

• Contacts gold plated

• brown

• for Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) (G130) and Oxygen Sensor (O2S) Heater 1 (behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC)) (Z29)

• Installed location: Installed location: under the floor panel. Refer to => [ Connector for ] Service and Repair

5 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor (G71)

• With intake manifold temperature sensor (G72)

6 4-pin connector

• for Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor (G71) with Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor (G72)

7 Coolant temperature sensor (G62)

• Inside the coolant distribution housing

8 81-pin connector

• Disconnect and connect the connector with the ignition switched off.

• release to disconnect

9 Motronic engine control module (J220)

• Installed location: next to the E-box, in engine compartment, left side

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Engine Control Module, Removing and Installing ] Service and Repair.

10 40-pin connector

• Disconnect and connect the connector with the ignition switched off.

• release to disconnect

11 EVAP canister purge regulator valve 1 (N80)

• Installation position: The arrow points in the flow direction

• Fastened to intake manifold

12 Throttle valve control module (J338)

13 Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Heating Element (N79)

14 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) (G39) electrical connector

15 E-box, in engine compartment, left side

• Relay and fuse installed locations

16 Engine speed sensor (G28)

• Inside the cylinder block at the front

17 Ignition coil

• With ignition coil 1 with power output stage (N) and ignition coil 2 (N128) with power output stage (N122)

18 Fuel injector (N30, N31, N32, N33)

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Fuel Injectors, Removing and Installing ] Fuel Injectors, Removing and Installing

19 Knock sensor 1 (G61)

• Inside the cylinder block at the front

20 2-pin connector

• Black

21 Intake manifold

• 1-part

22 Camshaft position sensor (G40)

• Attached to the cylinder head on the right side

23 Fuel supply line
