EGR Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

EGR Temperature Sensor G98

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Tool Set 17 mm (T10395)

• Ring Spanner 7-piece Set (3337)

Removing

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Remove the engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover ] Engine Cover.

- Release and disconnect the connector - arrow A -.






- Free up the wire.

- Remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) temperature sensor - 2 - from the EGR pipe - 1 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. When doing this note the following:

• When installing, bring all cable ties back to same positions.

- Electrical connectors and wiring routing.
