C1912 - Malfunction in Rear Active Stabilizer Control ECU Short Relay Power Supply IC
DESCRIPTION
When a malfunction is detected in the motor short relay power supply IC of the rear active stabilizer control ECU, DTC C1912 is output.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. INTERCHANGE FRONT AND REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
(a) Turn the power switch OFF.
(b) Interchange the rear active stabilizer control ECU with the front active stabilizer control ECU, and install them securely.
HINT
- Interchange the front and rear active stabilizer control ECUs and check for DTCs. After interchanging the ECUs, if a front stabilizer DTC is displayed, it can be determined that the rear active stabilizer control ECU is malfunctioning. If no DTC is output, the rear active stabilizer control actuator is malfunctioning.
- For the ECU removal and installation procedures, refer to the front ECU procedures Removal or the rear ECU procedures Removal.

2. CLEAR DTC
(a) Turn the power switch OFF.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the power switch ON (IG) and the Techstream on.
(d) Clear the DTC Active Stabilizer Suspension System.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK OPERATION OF REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
(a) Turn the power switch OFF.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the power switch ON (READY) and wait 30 seconds or more. Then check for front stabilizer DTCs Active Stabilizer Suspension System.
OK:
DTC C1938 is not output
NG -- REPLACE REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU Removal
OK -- REPLACE REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY Removal
