Removal and Installation


REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Do not apply excessive impact to brake pedal stroke sensor, such as dropping it.
1. Disconnect the brake pedal stroke sensor connector.
2. Remove the brake pedal stroke sensor bolts and remove the brake pedal stroke sensor.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- After replacement, adjust the location to be between 0.8 and 1.2V, checking the voltage with CONSULT-III without stepping on the brake pedal. These procedures should be performed on a flat place.
- After erasing Brake ECU memories, perform zero adjustment of following sensors and initialization of linear solenoid valve. These procedures should be performed on a flat place.

- Brake stroke sensor. Description.
- Linear solenoid valve. Description Special Repair Requirement.
