P0111

DTC P0111 - INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE PROBLEM

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Immediately at fault recognition

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
- Erroneous idling
- Poor driving performance

CAUTION: After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct CLEAR MEMORY MODE and INSPECTION MODE. Refer to How To Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Clear Memory Mode




WIRING DIAGRAM

10E1: CHECK ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.

CHECK: Does the Subaru Select Monitor or OBD-II general scan tool indicate DTC P0112, P0113, P0116, P0117 or P0125?

YES: Inspect DTC P0112, P0113, P0116, P0117 or P0125 using "10. Diagnostics Chart with Trouble Code". P0112 P0113 P0117 P0125

NOTE: In this case, it is not necessary to inspect DTC P0111.

NO: Go to step 10E2.

10E2: CHECK ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE.
1. Start the engine and warm it up completely.
2. Measure engine coolant temperature using Subaru Select Monitor or OBD-II general scan tool.

NOTE:
- Subaru Select Monitor

CHECK: Is the engine coolant temperature between 75°C (167°F) and 95°C (203°F)?

YES: Replace intake air temperature and pressure sensor.

NO: Inspect DTC P0125 using "10. Diagnostics Chart with Trouble Code". P0125
