1 Selector Handle with Cover

Do not remove the handle unnecessarily. For emergency release, only the cover must be removed. Refer to => [ Emergency Release from ] Emergency Release from "P".

2 Center Console Cover

For the selector mechanism.

Removing and installing.

3 Selector Mechanism with Selector Lever Cable

With an integrated selector lever sensor system control module, with the selector lever, Tiptronic switch, selector lever park position lock switch and shift lever solenoid.

The selector lever cable can only be replaced together with the selector mechanism.

Do not grease the selector lever cable.

Removing and installing, refer to one of the following:

6 Selector Housing

Available only together with the selector mechanism, refer to the Parts Catalog.

7 Bolt

20 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.

Always replace.

Quantity: 2

For securing the cable bracket to the transmission.

8 Cable Bracket

For the selector lever cable.

9 Lock Washer

Always replace after removing.

10 Lock Washer

Always replace after removing.

Installed position: The offset side faces forward, toward the front of the vehicle.
