E-Box Right Plenum Chamber
E-Box Right Plenum Chamber
Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to=> [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.
Removing
- Turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
- Remove the bolts - 1 and 3 - and remove the right upper longitudinal member - 2 -.
- Remove the screws - arrows - and remove the cover - 1 - for the right plenum chamber E-box.
- Disconnect the connectors - 1, 2 and 3 - and free up the wires.
- Open the retainers - arrow - and remove the relay panel and fuse panel - 4 -.
- Open the retainer - 5 - and remove the Suppressor (C24) - 6 -.
- Disengage the engine wiring harness on the E-box plenum chamber and lay it on the engine.
- Remove the nut - 5 - and the negative pole clamp - 4 -.
- Disengage the right E-box plenum chamber - 1 - from the threaded pins in - direction of arrow - while pulling the mount - 3 - out of the rubber grommet - 2 -.
- Remove the right plenum chamber E-box.
Installing
• Tightening specification. Refer to=> [ Engine Compartment E-Box, Wire Junction, Fuse Holder and Battery Overview ] Engine Compartment E-Box, Wire Junction, Fuse Holder and Battery Overview.
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
- Install the relay and fuse panel. Refer to => [ Relay and Fuse Panel in Right Plenum Chamber E-Box ] Relay and Fuse Panel in Right Plenum Chamber E-Box.
