Removal and Installation


REMOVAL






1.Remove sun visor cap (A) using a suitable tool.
2.Remove sun visor screws.
3.Disconnect vanity mirror lamp harness connector, and remove sun visor (LH/RH).

4.Insert a suitable tool (A) at approximately a 30 degree angle into the sun visor holder notch on the front of the sun visor holder (1). Press in to release the locking tab (B). While holding in locking tab (B), turn the sun visor holder (1) 90 degrees to release it from the headliner.
- If the sun visor holder (1) does not fully rotate, make sure that the suitable tool (A) is pressing in on the locking tab (B) and is not positioned under locking tab (B). Reinsert the suitable tool (A) as necessary to release the locking tab (B).
-: Vehicle front

CAUTION:
Do not force the sun visor holder when removing as the locking tab may be damaged if the suitable tool is not positioned correctly.
5.Release the lane camera finisher clips using a suitable tool (if equipped).
6.Remove rain sensor cover. Refer to "Exploded View" Exploded View.





7.Disconnect harness connectors.
- Lane camera harness connector (1) (if equipped)
- Inside mirror harness connector (2)
- Rain sensor harness connector (3)
8.Remove all assist grips.





a.Disengage assist grip clip (1) using a suitable tool (A).
Slide assist grip clip forward and remove it.

9.Remove front pillar finisher (LH/RH). Refer to "FRONT PILLAR FINISHER : Removal and Installation" Front Pillar Finisher.
10.Remove front door welt (LH/RH). Refer to "BODY SIDE WELT : Removal and Installation Front Door Welt" Removal and Installation - Front Door Welt.
11.Remove rear door welt (LH/RH). Refer to "BODY SIDE WELT : Removal and Installation Rear Door Welt" Removal and Installation - Rear Door Welt.

12.Remove center pillar upper finisher (LH/RH). Refer to "CENTER PILLAR UPPER FINISHER : Removal and Installation" Center Pillar Upper Finisher.

CAUTION:
Do not reuse the center pillar upper finisher.
13.Remove rear pillar finisher (LH/RH). Refer to "REAR PILLAR FINISHER : Removal and Installation" Rear Pillar Finisher.

CAUTION:
Do not reuse the rear pillar finisher.
14.Remove back pillar finisher (LH/RH). Refer to "BACK PILLAR FINISHER : Removal and Installation" Back Pillar Finisher.

CAUTION:
Do not reuse the back pillar finisher.
15.Remove luggage side upper finisher (LH/RH). Refer to "LUGGAGE SIDE UPPER FINISHER : Removal and Installation" Luggage Side Upper Finisher.
16.Remove the third row seat. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Removal and Installation.
17.Remove headliner clips located at the rear side of the headliner.
18.Remove headliner assembly (1) through the back door.






CAUTION:
- When removing headliner, two workers are required.
- Do not bend headliner when removing.
- Be careful not to scratch or damage any part of the body while taking out the headliner.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Do not to bend headliner when installing.
- Install metal clips of map lamp assembly and clips of the rear end of headlining for positioning.
