AIR CONDITIONING: REAR COOLING UNIT (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the rear cooling unit assembly and connect the drain cooler hose as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)

(c) Connect the connectors and attach the clamps.

2. CONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY





(a) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the tube.

Compressor oil:

ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

(b) Install the 2 O-rings to the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

(c) Install the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)

(d) Install the No. 4 cooling unit packing as shown in the illustration.

(1) Remove peeling paper A and attach the packing starting from the marking on the block joint.

(2) Pull peeling paper B through the space between the duct and block joint and install the packing.

3. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLER AIR DUCT





(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 2 cooler air duct.

4. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER AIR DUCT





(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 cooler air duct.

5. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 AIR DUCT





(a) Attach the 6 claws to install the rear No. 4 air duct.

6. INSTALL REAR NO. 5 AIR DUCT





(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the rear No. 5 air duct.

7. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF SIDE AIR DUCT LH





(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 2 roof side air duct LH.

(b) Install the clip.

8. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF SIDE AIR DUCT RH





(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 2 roof side air duct RH.

(b) Install the clip.

9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH Installation

10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH Installation

11. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Installation

12. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Installation

13. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

14. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH Installation

15. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Installation

16. INSTALL ROPE HOOK Installation

17. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER COVER





(a) Attach the 5 clips to install the No. 1 cooler cover.

18. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY Installation

19. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH Installation

20. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH RH Installation

21. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH Installation

22. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH Installation

23. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Installation

24. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Installation

25. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

(a) Install the rear seat assembly Installation.

26. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)

(a) Install the rear seat assembly Installation.

27. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

28. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Installation

29. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Installation

30. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

31. ADD COMPRESSOR OIL Service and Repair

32. CHARGE REFRIGERANT Service and Repair

33. WARM UP ENGINE Service and Repair

34. CHECK FOR REFRIGERANT GAS LEAK Service and Repair

35. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light Check Mode Procedure.
