Air Bag Deactivation Indicator: Service and Repair

PASSENGER AIR BAG DEACTIVATION (PAD) INDICATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the following parts:
a. Front scuff plate inner Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

b. Front side trim Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

c. Side panel Side Panel Removal/Installation

d. Side wall Side Wall Removal/Installation

e. Front console Front Console Removal/Installation

f. Glove compartment Service and Repair

g. Center panel module Center Panel Module Removal/Installation

h. Climate control unit (with car-navigation system) Climate Control Unit Removal/Installation [Full-Auto Air Conditioner] Climate Control Unit Removal [Manual Air Conditioner]

i. Car-navigation unit (with car-navigation system) Service and Repair

j. Dashboard center panel Dashboard Center Panel Removal/Installation

k. Passenger-side air bag module Passenger-Side Air Bag Module Removal/Installation

l. Dashboard garnish Dashboard Garnish Removal/Installation

4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.










5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
