DESCRIPTION
If the passenger side manual UP / DOWN function does not operate, a malfunction may be present in the power window regulator motor, power window regulator switch, power window regulator master switch or wire harness.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (PASSENGER SIDE) (POWER SOURCE)
(a) Disconnect the G6 regulator switch connector.
(b) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:
(c) Reconnect the switch connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (PASSENGER SIDE)
(a) Remove the power window regulator switch.
(b) Check the resistance.
Standard resistance:
(c) Reinstall the switch.
NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (PASSENGER SIDE) Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) - MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE))
(a) Disconnect the G6 power window regulator switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the G3 power window regulator motor connector.
(c) Check the resistance.
Standard resistance:
(d) Reconnect the motor connector.
(e) Reconnect the switch connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (PASSENGER SIDE)
(a) Remove the power window regulator motor.
(b) Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.
NOTICE:
Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.
(c) Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.
OK:
(d) Reinstall the motor.
NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (PASSENGER SIDE) Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MASTER SWITCH - SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE))
(a) Disconnect the H5 power window regulator master switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the G6 power window regulator switch connector.
(c) Check the resistance.
Standard resistance:
(d) Reconnect the switch connector.
(e) Reconnect the master switch connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
6. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FRONT PASSENGER SWITCH)
(a) Remove the power window regulator master switch.
(b) Check the resistance.
Standard resistance:
(c) Reinstall the master switch.
NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- SYSTEM IS OK Power Windows Do Not Operate At All
