Removal





AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

Removal

2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Coolant (for Engine)

5. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

6. DRAIN COOLANT (for Inverter) Coolant (for Inverter)

7. REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 3 INVERTER BRACKET Removal

10. REMOVE LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Engine Hood Courtesy Switch) Removal

13. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch) Removal

14. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

15. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY Removal

16. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the condenser.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

17. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A from the condenser.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

18. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts.





(b) Remove the cooler condenser assembly as shown in the illustration.
