1 Exhaust Pipe

• To the rear muffler.

2 Clamp

• 7 Nm

• Always replace.

• Note the installed position, refer to => [ Installed Position of the Clamps between the Exhaust Door Control Unit and NOx Reduction Catalytic Converter or Exhaust Pipe ].

3 Seal

• Always replace.

• Installing, refer to => [ Installing the Seal Between the Exhaust Door Control Unit and the NOx Reduction Catalytic Converter ].

4 Exhaust Door Control Unit (J883)

• Pay attention to the installed position.

• Wire, routing. Refer to => [ NOx Sensor Overview ] Service and Repair.

5 NOx Reduction Catalytic Converter

• Overview, refer to => [ NOx Reduction Catalytic Converter Overview ] NOx Reduction Catalytic Converter Overview.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ NOx Reduction Catalytic Converter ] NOx Reduction Catalytic Converter.

Installing the Seal Between the Exhaust Door Control Unit and the NOx Reduction Catalytic Converter





- Insert the seal - 2 - with the angled tab - B - in the notch - A - on the NOx reduction catalytic converter - 1 -.

- Install the exhaust door control unit - 3 - with the retaining tab - C - in the notch - A -.

Installed Position of the Clamps between the Exhaust Door Control Unit and NOx Reduction Catalytic Converter or Exhaust Pipe





- Insert the new securing clamp so that the clamping bolt is positioned opposite the housing for the exhaust door control unit and the angle - 45° ± 10° - is fixed.
