1 Bolt

2 Seal
• For the crankshaft, transmission side.
• Replacing, refer to => [ Crankshaft Seal, Transmission Side ] Service and Repair.
3 Bolt
• Tightening specification and sequence, refer to => [ Lower Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification ].
4 Alignment Sleeve
• Quantity: 2
5 Stud Bolt
• Tightening specification, see - item 13 - in the => [ Oil Filter Housing Overview ] Oil Filter Housing Overview.
6 Left Cylinder Head Gasket
7 Bolt
• Always replace.
Tightening specification and sequence, refer to => [ Left Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification ].
8 Bracket
• For the wiring harness.
9 Left Timing Chain Cover
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Left or Right Upper Timing Chain Cover ] Left or Right Upper Timing Chain Cover.
10 Bracket
• For the wiring harness.
11 Bolt
• Always replace.

25 Lower Timing Chain Cover

26 Engine Speed Sensor (G28)
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Engine Speed Sensor G28 ] Service and Repair.
27 Bolt
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Engine Speed Sensor G28 ] Service and Repair.
Left Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
• Replace the bolts which have been tightened to an additional torque angle.
• The brackets - arrows A and B - are installed with the left timing chain cover.
- Tighten the bolts in 2 passes in sequence - 1 through 8 -:
Right Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
• Replace the bolts which have been tightened to an additional torque angle.
- Tighten the bolts in 2 passes in sequence - 1 through 8 -:
Lower Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification
• Replace the bolts which have been tightened to an additional torque angle.
