Removal
HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal
3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal
4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
5. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair
6. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal
7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR Removal
9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Disassembly
11. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Disengage the 4 clips and the radiator support opening cover.
12. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Removal
13. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER Removal
14. REMOVE HOOD LOCK NUT CAP Removal
15. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Removal
16. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT Removal
17. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER BRACKET
(a) Remove the 4 bolts and disconnect the oil cooler bracket from the cooler condenser assembly.
18. DISCONNECT LIQUID PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the liquid pipe sub-assembly from the cooler condenser assembly.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the liquid pipe sub-assembly.
NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.
19. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the cooler condenser assembly.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.
20. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 4 bolts and cooler condenser assembly.
21. REMOVE COOLER DRYER
(a) Using a 14 mm straight hexagon wrench, remove the cap from the modulator.
(b) Using pliers, remove the cooler dryer.
